This is what it's all about - a whole range of amazing water-based facilities for every age and ability, and all completely free. It's all about having fun and gaining that extra bit of confidence in the water.
This is our third visit to Greenacres and we love it. First time in high season and we’re pleasantly surprised that even in August the site still had the same relaxed atmosphere and felt peaceful. Children love the entertainment. Pool could do with being bigger but as the weather was nice we spent our time on the beautiful beach.
We booked a private caravan this time - was beautiful with decking and we could hear the sea. The only downside to our stay was the cost of fun passes - extortionate- but our children love the seaside squad so there’s no way we could get away with not having them!
Aldi , Lidl and Tesco in Porthmadog. Would recommend visiting Cadwaladrs for ice cream or a pancake.
We look forward to returning to our favourite Haven site soon!
We had a prestige pet friendly caravan which had a small decking area at the front. It was a newer model which was lovely. The weather was hot so we brought a fan which we really needed as it heated up during the day. We stayed on Robin Court which was only about a 5 minute walk to the beach down a lane. The beach was amazing, huge and didn’t feel overcrowded. Just need to keep an eye out for cars driving up n down the beach if u have wee ones or a dog like us. We ate at the Mash & Barrel twice and thoroughly enjoyed the food. The service was great and every member of staff we came into contact with were very friendly. The young girl on security was super friendly, always smiling like she’s known us for years and made our day waving to us every time we left or returned to the park. We can’t wait to go back again.
