Staff where excellent especially the warden on the touring section what a nice and helpful guy, so where the other staff, toilet block on touring site clean and tidy as was the rest of the touring site. Generally a nice site with easy access to black rock sands. Swimming pool lovely and warm.

My partner and I booked a Friday - Monday break via the Sun Holidays to Greenacres. We were greeted by friendly, welcoming staff on arrival. We had booked a Comfort caravan, however, we had been upgraded to a Comfort Plus and we were more than delighted with the caravan. Very clean and modern and with an added extra of central heating. The site itself is very clean and well maintained. It is lovely and quiet too with lovely views. It is right next to the beach and not to far to drive into Porthmadog, although I believe there is also a bus that takes you there also. We didn't purchase entertainment passes so cannot review the facilities/entertainment. However, purely based on the caravan, the site and location we will definitely return and really would recommend it.

We stayed Monday 17th- Sunday 23rd May in a prestige caravan with decking. Checking in was easy and the caravan was spotless. We were very impressed with the standard of the caravan. There was plenty of space around it for the kids to run around and play. The park was immaculate and due to the way the caravans are laid out it never felt too busy. We particularly loved the proximity to the beach which is breathtakingly beautiful.
We booked swimming online before we arrived but were able to book a couple of extra slots once we arrived on site so we were able to go swimming twice as a family. The pool is simple (no slides etc) but the kids hadn’t been swimming since before covid so it was a gentle way of getting them back in the water. Swim sessions weren’t too busy which was great.
We had a couple of wild and windy days but were quite happy to relax inside the caravan which felt really cosy with the fire on. On the more pleasant days we visited Portmeirion and took a dive up to Ynys Llandwyn on Anglesey.
We would love to return to Greenacres, it’s a great base for exploring a beautiful part of North Wales
